The Jax Beach Palm Tree House is a newly built home located 4 blocks from the ocean, and is near Mayport, Mayo Clinic, UNF, military base, shopping and tons of restaurants, including Brunch Haus (the best breakfast in Jax Beach). City center is just 6 blocks Northeast of the home. Best location in Jax Beach and close to everything! The Host lives nearby and ensures an amazing experience!
This multi-family home is situated on a corner lot two blocks from A1A on 6th Ave. South and offers three available rental options, all with keyless entry. The first floor is a complete 4-Bedroom home with private entrance and driveway off of 6th Ave. South. The second home entrance is located on 5th Street South and offers a common, shared entrance to access the Upstairs Suite. The stairway is shared, but the Suite has its own keyless entry and complete privacy within the suite. The Camping and Event area is located near the shared driveway where you can also park your RV, trailer, or golf cart. You can even plug in your RV for a small fee.

This newly built, spacious home offers this 4 Bedroom / 2 Bath, 1600 square foot option on the first floor with no stairs, a private entrance, and driveway on 6th Ave South. Comfortably sleeps 6 people and comes with comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, beach supplies, a quiet backyard space, board games, books, smart TVs in all of the bedrooms, washer and dryer, and ample parking. Beach cruisers are available upon request. Home is located near Mayport, Mayo Clinic, UNF, shopping & restaurants. Perfect for families, groups of friends, and anyone desiring a home on one level. Keyless access for your arrival convenience and super fast Internet service available.

Cozy 2-room suite and full bathroom. There is a queen bed in the bedroom. The larger, multipurpose room has a twin bed and full size bed. This room also has dining area and kitchenette. There is an apartment size refrigerator in unit as we welcome month-long guests. The kitchenette offers basic cooking essentials to prepare a quick meal. There are 2 burners, pots and pans, skillet, toaster oven, coffee maker, and general kitchen utensils. High speed WiFi is also available. Easy access to home via keyless lock system. Driveway or rock parking is available for 1-2 vehicles (including a trailer, RV, and/or golf cart).

Mark off your bucket list and enjoy this truly coastal camping experience, the closest camping you will find to Jax Beach! Enjoy the ocean breeze and hearing the crashing waves in this fully outdoor, private yard just 4 blocks from the beach. Great adventure for an exploratory/novice, especially if you have never camped. All the tools to camp are provided; all you have to do is show up! There are 2 tents provided, ideal for 4 guests - one for living and one for bathroom use. An extra tent can be provided upon request. You are surrounded by artificial turf and a rock area with a fire pit where you can also use a small grill. (Note: the turf cannot tolerate heat so please no grilling, fire, or smoking on the turf.) Access to a water hose and electrical cord are also available. Come try something night for a 2-night minimum - and stay even longer if you love it!
Frequently Asked Questions
Can multiple rental units be leased at the same time?
Yes, we are happy to discuss renting multiple units based on your guest count. As per the Fire Marshall, occupancy is based on two heart beats per bedroom unless under age 1.
Does the Owner live on-site?
The Owner does live on-site above the 4-bedroom rental home. They are a small family, very quiet, and travel often. They have entrusted their management team to offer a quality hospitality experience. Please reach out to them with your rental needs.
Are animals and pets permitted?
Due to this being an owner-occupied home, certain exemptions exist with service animals and emotional support animals. In addition, management embraces a “No Pet/No Animal” policy to maintain the sanitary nature of our home especially since we house many transplant patients and their families. Plus, our artificial turf surrounding the home is not suitable for animals to use to do their business.
How does the Event space work?
The Coastal Camping area can also be used for an Event space for up to 30 guests. Please reach out using the Contact Form for more information.
What are nearby attractions?
The Palm Tree House is just five blocks south of the city center of Jacksonville Beach which is walking distance to festivals, the bar district, and restaurants. A few blocks to great brunch spots such as the Brunch Haus, Breezey’s Café, and Tulua Bristro. Fours blocks north is the grocery store, Publix, or Walgreens. Dollar Tree is also nearby. Several city parks are nearby and a short drive to multiple nature trails. Lots of great seafood restaurants like North Beach Fish Camp, Beachside Seafood, Safe Harbor, Seafood Shack, and many others.

The location was perfect. I stayed the whole week and could not be happier with my experience. Julia was a great host and I look forward to coming back! The location is worth every penny and it’s definitely a deal for the way everything is set up in the room. I have a truck and trailer that they accommodated parking for without any issues. Definitely a huge plus. Very easy access in and out of the unit. Stays very quiet and peaceful. Good pressure on the shower. A couple blocks from the first row of bars and the BEACH! I would recommend staying here, 10/10.

We greatly enjoyed our time! Julia provided great instructions and was very responsive! The Airbnb was walkable to everything we needed (grocery store, restaurant's, and of course, the ocean!) - we stayed for three nights and did not have to Uber anywhere! We felt safe in the community! Convenient location - easy access to the Mayo Clinic for me and a comfortable place to recover; easy access to the beach for my daughter. Nearby restaurants and stores made it easy for my daughter to meet my needs before heading off to play. Everything was clean, and the amenities were sufficient. Great place to stay!

Julia was super friendly, helpful and accommodating!! :) The rooms were very clean and the location was accessible to everything. I didn't have a car there, but groceries, the beaches, excellent restaurants and other essentials were all really easy to walk to. Highly recommend staying with Julia if you're in the area! :)

I hope I never have to come back to Mayo Clinic, but if I do, I would definitely stay here again. Julia was kind, let me in early before check in (it was miserable, pouring out) and so sweet and friendly to my brother and I. I had just flown in from CT for sister's surgery and recovery. The suite was spotless, and pretty much had everything I needed (essentials, paper products). And it was very quiet which was important to me for downtime. This was not a trip for pleasure, having a place to rest up and recharge was essential. Highly recommend. Thank you Julia!

The suite was comfortable and had all that I needed. The location was spectacular. A couple of blocks from the beach and most of the restaurants and facilities of Jax beach. Parking was convenient and on the property. My lovely host provided all the things I needed for the beach. Julia my host was awesome. She was friendly and extremely helpful. If I needed to contact her she was always readily available. Great backyard with turf to relax with some shade and coffee. Very private and quiet area.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Julia's place for 5 nights and we loved it! It's only a few blocks from the beach which is what we wanted, so the beach, in addition to many restaurants, are walking distance. Julia was a great host!
